| Creation
of New Department and Division
(10th May 2010)

A new Department named "Department of
Information Science & Technology" and a new Division named
"Division of MCA", under the Department of Information Science
& Technology, were created by bifurcating the Department of Computer
Science & Engineering. Hereafter, the Department of Information
Science & Technology will have B.Tech (Information Technology), M.Tech.
(Information Technology) and M.E(Multimedia Technology) courses. The
Division of MCA will have Master of Computer Applications.
